How can I progress through the levels?

You can progress through the levels by collecting coins as you play. You have the option of buying coins to progress faster but there is no requirement to do so. You can also watch an ad to earn some coins. How can I unlock new characters?

You can unlock new characters by navigating to the menu and going to the character menu. You can buy characters with the coins you collect in game.
